Show is in conjunction with Fresh Mink Pet Expo.  The cat show is in a separate hall.  No other animals are in the same hall.

SHOW HOURS: Check-In Saturday 7:30 – 8:30, Sunday 8:30-9:00 AM, Show hours for exhibitors are 9 AM – 5 PM Saturday and 9:30 AM – 4PM Sunday. If you need to leave early, please contact show management. Open to the public.

AIRPORT: Most major carriers fly into Atlanta International Airport (ATL), which is connected to the GICC by the free ATL SkyTrain .  Taxis and rental cars are available at the airport.

SHOW CATALOGS: Unless you request and pay for a printed show catalog ($10), you will receive your show catalog no later than the Thursday before the show by email as a PDF file. When you enter you need to indicate if you want a printed show catalog or if you are fine with the electronic version. The electronic catalog will be sent to the email address you have registered in TOES. We will NOT have extra hard copy catalogs for sale at the show.

Entry Fees: All entry and miscellaneous fees are due and payable to It’s TICA Time within 72 hours of submission of entry. By entering the show, you agree to pay ALL fees, whether you attend the show or bench any cats/kittens. Regardless of the date of entry, ALL fees must be paid or postmarked within the entry category ie Early Bird, Regular, Tardy Turtles. No payments will be accepted at check-in UNLESS approved IN ADVANCE by show management. Approved payments at check-in must be made IN CASH ONLY. 

1. Payment completed  April 5 – 8, $10 additional fee.

2. Payment completed April 9 – 12, $25 additional fee.

3. Payment completed during or after the show (April 13 & beyond), $50 additional fee.

Include exhibitor name in memo for electronic payments Returned payments will incur a $50 fee. NO REFUNDS! 

CLERKS & STEWARDS: Please include in summary sheet and the preferred judge.  Clerks will receive $50 per day and $120 if clerking for both days.  Stewards are also critical, $25 per day, $60 for both days. If you are clerking and willing to also Steward, Fantastic!!!  Great lunches and water/soda/coffee provided to all clerks and stewards.

Show Hall: Georgia International Convention Center (GICC), Hall D , 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park , GA  30337.   Outside food is not allowed.  There will be food available for purchase

Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Declawed cats are only allowed for entry pursuant to TICA Show Rule 23.5 (allowed for household pet or household pet kitten entries or if proof is submitted with entry that the declawing occurred prior to May 1, 2020, and that same cat was shown prior to the rule change on May 1, 2020).

Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat’s first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens) must be registered by their second show. Please contact TICAfor registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).

Awards: Plaques will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules

Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas, fungus, or other illness will be escorted from the show hall, along with any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and panleukopenia, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one (21) days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging.

Kittens: All kittens (pedigreed or HHP) entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age).  Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered. If you are not sure of the proper class or color of your cat, check out http://www.seregiontica.org/Colors/intro.htm or you may send a color photo of the cat to the entry clerk along with a description of the hair length on the tail. Measure if necessary. Your picture will be re- turned at check-in. You will also have an opportunity Saturday morning to have the senior judge make a final determination if the color / pattern is still in question.

Benching: Only one benching request will be honored. Agent requests take priority over benching request. Clerks will be benched first. Double cage spaces are 22″W x 44″ L and is included with your entry fee. The two sides, back, and top must be covered. For the comfort of your cat(s), please bring something for the bottom of the cage too! TICA rules allow no more than two kittens or one cat benched in a single cage. NO KITTENS OR CATS MAY BE CONFINED TO CARRIERS, EITHER DISPLAYED OR UNDER CAGES, DURING SHOW HOURS.  

Supplies: Cat litter will be available, but please bring your own litter pan and food and water dishes

Grooming Spaces: These measure approximately 22 inches x 22 inches x 44 inches. Available for purchase, in no case is vending permitted from your benching / grooming space.

For Sale: Sales cages are available , only exhibitors are eligible and requires payment with other registration fees . If you are bringing cats or kittens to sell, you are strongly advised to  familiarize yourself with the applicable statutes.  The club takes no responsibility for your failure to do so.
